When I first joined up I was perfectly happy with my Glocks.
I still like my Glocks, but now I also have a few K-Frames, a couple J-Frames, a shelf full of 1911s, and a couple of Wilson Brigadier Tacticals.
Good lord...now that I lost it out like that...y'all have cost me quite a bit of dough!
I never really considered myself a fan of the little 5-shooters. But they turned out to be so practical, that I've owned a few in .38 and 9mm over the years.
Just a 642 but I sure like it. Cleaned up the insides and installed an Apex kit. Softened the cylinder release to save on bandages. Grips are modified Altamonts. Fit nice, shoot nice. Currently use a Phlster City Special but want to get a Dark Star for it.
I posted this in the .22 thread; this is my wife's 'around the house in yoga pants' pistola. She dubbed it Little Boy Blue. Which, of course, makes me go, "You're my boy, Blue!" Love this little guy.
S&W 351c, 7rds of .22mag:
It's hot as dicks out here. A Camacho Criollo and 351c by the pool seems like a good way to spend Wheelgun Wednesday.
Picked up a 640 Pro today and dropped an Apex spring kit into it along with my 442, we'll see how it goes. I was all excited thinking wow S&W didn't screw this one up until I saw the sight....now I have to either file on it myself, send it back, or have a competent smith fix it.
