Sadly, I think we are collectively still in search of a robust clip sans metallic signature. Solve that mousetrap, and a handful of gun nerds will beat a path, myself among them.

I don't need a clip, I just need boot grips that wrap around the backstrap of the frame instead of the front strap. Took my 442 to the range last weekend and I can barely grip the thing and I can't find suitable grips for my large-ish hands. Gonna sell the J-frame a get another LCR.

Bigghoss, I'd like the same thing. I don't have big hands, but I need grips that aren't longer than the grip frame, but provide more meat to grab (phrasing!). I now have Lasergrips, but since I didn't like the ones that provide that extra backstrap meat (Phrasing again!), I went with the more traditionally boot-grip style.

I don't need cushion, just some extra material to increase the gripped distance front-to-rear.

Pachmayr Diamond pro, Compac rubber, Renegade wood or G10 grips are all close to what you're looking for.

mummert knives makes a titanium sheath clip. I have one and it's very sturdy

the screws are steel, but I think you could find an alternate screw that would work

You could use titanium Chicago screws.

Creative cord work has allowed a G-Clip to be used.

Dude. Thanks; I am so ordering this.

Also note that we can have our very own Dagga Boy NPE tool, as well:

ETA: I've also been meaning to post about these grips, ever since they came into my awareness a few months ago... sort of gimmicky, but I[m open to being wrong about that; anyone ever try a set?
