What is an appropriate window to set your random start on your shot timer for?
I ask this because most of us are aware you can edge out an advantage with a more limited window, or set one so broad you almost get sleepy waiting for it.
As someone interested in firearms manipulation mastery - I'm always looking for the "right" or "efficient" way to control the variables in the drills I run.
For 2-3 months now I've run a 2 -5.5 second delayed start, knowing that setting the variables against me only prepares me better for more controlled environments I just updated the delay to 1.5-7.5 seconds, I think it's for the best but I'm trying not to nod off during the start delay.
What recommendations, experiences or practices would you folks suggest?
