Walked into my favorite Pawn Shop the other day and saw one of my grail guns: A Colt's Officers Model Match in 38 Special. It had the later Python grips on it and they were too big for my hand. Swapped them out for a pair of cheap fake Ivories with a Tyler T.
She shoots very well, much better than I can hold but so what I will just have to practice. Date of Manufacture is 1960.

May it give you may years of enjoyment. There is something incredibly satisfying about finding a Grail gun.
Thank you SS, bout fell over when I saw it there under the glass on the third shelf down. Shooting 3.0 Bullseye and a full 148 wadcutter load and it is sweet. Just a great old paper puncher, harkens back to a bygone era!
Someone asked me recently what has changed since you were a kid? Thought a moment and said:" Only the topography is still the same." Chicago is still in Chicago, Idaho is still Idaho, but everything else has changed. This old Colt takes me back!

Mmmmmm. I like it. If get a revolver with great old time bluing, it might need ivores too.
