There are several videos, interviews, in that link that aren't on YouTube (from what I could see), worth viewing. Gives a good idea of what the officers were thinking and what they were dealing with.
These types of videos should be common practice for large events like this.

Close to home. The shooter was a student on my campus (PhD student; not in my program). I was not a student at the time but know several older classmates in my program who knew him in passing. Great interviews. Thanks for sharing.
He should have had a better thesis advisor.
