    Special Run Beretta M9 Project

So, I am sitting here in these meetings at the Beretta Factory in Tennessee. Something has come up as an opportunity that I may explore.

Would an M9 with all the cool parts added at a good price be of interest?

Brand New M9 contract guns built at the new factory... with:

    LTT G10 Grips
    Steel Trigger
    D Hammer Spring
    Wilson Rear Sight
    Extended Mag Button
    G Lever
    Orange Painted front sight dot

Let me know what you guys think.

    Not sure, really
I've not been a fan of the M9 until last week when a friend let me shoot his pistol that was full of Wilson Combat internals.

    Wow!

"Why aren't they all that way?" I muttered.

Yes, I would be interested; highly so.

G Lever, and a bunch of other cool stuff - sounds good to me. I do think the orange dot would be a neat item.

I'd be in for one. I'd rather see a fiber optic, or a tritium vial in the front sight, but I could live with an orange dot.

Ernest, thanks for keeping the 92 mojo going. Your videos have been a big help in my progress with this pistol.

I am thinking this is a cool gun for guys that like the 92 and want and extra truck gun, basement gun, etc. OR, for the guy that wants to give the Beretta a try. All while supporting the Beretta move to Tenn.

Since I'm a Beretta whore I'd buy one. Seems like it would be a nice range blaster.
    Shoot more, post less...

sounds very similar to the 92G Brigadier Tactical (i just got one!).

should have some distinguishing features to set it apart from the normal 92F, and apart from Wilson's 92G.

maybe tan or green color, contrasting grip color, or stainless barrel/other parts?

eh, what do i know, i just shoot them, i have no idea how to market and sell them.

I think "the folks" would just like to get a G-model - with anything else on it - that doesn't cost over $1,000.

The price difference between a 92FS/G (though I don't really know what a 92G costs since I've never seen one in the flesh) and a Wilson 92G Brigadier Tactical or 92G-SD is pretty much the cost of a Glock. That's a pretty big delta for a lot of folks.

The regular 92G seemed to come back in the inventory just about the time Beretta announced the plans to move to Tennessee, and they never got to the shelves in any numbers.

    Personally, I'm lusting for a 92G Vertec.
