I've got a start on getting mine setup -
    Pakse Pathfinder grip
HBI mini-AK safety on the right side
Stock safety on the left side
    HBI trigger spring kit
    HBI Prostock mag release

    Initial thoughts:
The grip angle feels good, but I do think it looks funny. The screw is much smaller OD than the OEM, and is just a hair too long. make sure the head of the screw is on the side your hand covers, if it sticks out it won't jab you.
Safety setup allows me to take the gun off-safe with a similar motion as an AR, but use my index to re-engage (and it's very obvious when it's on or off).
Trigger spring is totally worth it. Not hard to install if you don't have the welded-in issue.
Not sold that the mag release was necessary. I like the paddle for the thumb, but it's not as easy to engage with the trigger finger as the stock version.

Next up: needs a red dot and a light. And a can, if it ever clears NFA jail.

Incidentally when folded it fits in that Maratac bag it's sitting on, like it was made for it. Just need some velcro mag pouches that would work in there for a pretty bad-ass go-bag.

I’m seriously thinking about changing out my original barrel and HBI handguard for a complete HBI K kit. I think it would make it even handier (and to be completely honest, fun) - I already have a Tailhook mounted on the CZ folding extension. I could easily resell the bullnose HBI 6.84” handguard to recover part of the cost.

As an alternative I could have my stock barrel cut. Not sure which way to go.

Actually more closely related to the Vz. 61 Skorpion than I expected.

ETA: REALLY like the mag release. Don't really like the orientation of the safety.

    What optic is that?

Looks like a DI Optical FC1 without the mount riser: http://diopticalusa.com/?page_id=1219

That's a interesting looking optic. I've never seen one before much less heard anything about it.

For you SBR/carbine users, HBI just dropped their own take on the Zhukov-S stock adapter since Side Project isn't turning them out anymore. Looks clean enough to nearly look factory. I have trouble getting comfortable with my Aimpoint on the riser using the factory stock, the factory stock doesn't fold shut very well, and having a stock-mounted QD socket has been something I've wanted on the Evo for a while, so this may very well end up on my SBR down the line.

I gotta say shooting my K-Scorpion is just about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.
