Thread: Availability of Beretta Brig Tacs?

    Availability of Beretta Brig Tacs?

I am a Beretta 92 fan and pretty simple. When I find something that works and understand, I tend to not change. I would like to have a Brig Tac slide pistol. I looked at a Wilson Combat last week in person and loved it. All the WC Brig Tacs I have called about have both the Action Tune and Mag Guide options and are selling for $1450-1550. Are any Beretta Brig Tacs (non WC) ever manufactured anymore and if so what do they cost? I would like to see the std WC Brig Tac w/o the 2 options for $1200 as I think that is a good deal. Anyway, just wondering when people say they have a Brig Tac, where and when did they get them. The practical side of me starts thinking I could have 2 of the 92A1s for the 1500 but I want one.

The Brigadier Tactical is a Wilson specific model. However, if you just want a Beretta with a Brigadier slide that is a different matter.

    Beretta offers the

If it is a Wilson Brigadier Tactical you really want, the retail price is around $1,200 for the baseline gun.

Availability of all Beretta's has been limited due to their move from Maryland to Tennessee. I suspect that to change soon as the Tennessee plant gets up to full speed.

Right now alot of the best Beretta models are hard to find. The Brig Tac is always a Wilson gun. However you can get rail and a brig slide with the 92G-SD. Alot of foks are on back order for Wilson Brig Tacs, M9A1(not 92A1) is impossible to find right now, many are searching for M9A3s but they are out there, M9 models seem to be really scarce.

Beretta has a serious output problem when it comes to the models that people actually want in the 92 series. If they ever get caught up (which i question. Its been years since the move) hopefully we'll get the chance to buy an Ernest Langdon 92.

Yes, the Inox version with dovetail sights is what I want. Just can't find one. Is it USA made?

They are out there, but probably not easy to find.

I'm looking for a Vertec model, not really hard, but casually looking.

For the OP, some of the guns listed above are FS models - safety/decocker - while the Wilson Brigadier Tactical and the 92 G-SD are decocker only, and the Centennial has no decocker just a safety, if that makes a difference to you.

I am fine with WC decocker only but if get INOX FS am fine with safety/decocker too. I have never inadvertently put my 92A1 on safe. I also am the decocker only because that puts the pistol as safe as my SW 686 revolver

Shooter's Connection seems to regularly order Brigadier Tactical 92Gs from Wilson Combat, often with the action tune. They have 40 in stock as I right this, including models with the action tune and magazine guide installed.

Wilson Combat Beretta Wilson Combat 92G Brigadier Tactical, 9mm
Wilson Combat Beretta TUNED 92G Brigadier Tactical, 9mm
Wilson Combat Beretta TUNED 92G Brigadier Tactical, 9mm Mag Guide
