If you want .30-.30 / 7.62x39 ballistics out of an AR platform .300 BO super loads will do so with much greater reliability.
I disagree based on what I've seen people report with the PSA KS47 and the Mutant, they start to choke up based on round count since last cleaning it seems which suggests to me the ammo is too dirty for DI

I'll check it out, didn't know they made one

I have also looked at the Galil but they seem to be imperfect but expensive too

If you are in TX you can happily play with my PWS Diablo and my Ace Pistol.

The PWS runs great with these mags. http://www.shop.northriverllc.com/30...-C30762SBB.htm

You may also want to add a new firing pin. http://www.blackriflearms.com/AR-762...g-Pin_p_9.html

Arsenal is $1k for an SLR
Mounting an optic for an AK is $100-$200

BCM or DD is about the same price range

Have Arsenal AKs, Colt ARs, and DSA FALs.

The Colts are more ergonomic to carry & use. The AKs and FALs offer better barrier penetration. The homestead is in open rural farm country.
