Geissele mounts do not fit some scopes correctly...or some scopes don't fit them?

What are the thoughts on this? Seems Geissele has represented themselves excellently in the thread. I am the OP and have no beef with them, they have taken exceptional care of my situation. Curious is Kahles has crappy QC, or if Geissele mounts are not exactly something I should use to gauge the Kahles by? Should this scope be replaced as out of spec? Anyone else with micrometers measure and share the dimensions of their K16i's tube?

Not much to go on without traceable measuring tools, Geissele's gage traceability, and the tolerances Geissele and Kahles machine to. Could simply be a case of tolerance stacking not in your favor but still within max spec from both manufacturers. Looked like that other guy had a ring cap close to or at mechanical interference as well.
