    Best .223/5.56 for the M-4

    And now that I've got a nice little Colt 6920 awaiting me back in the USA*, I was wondering what the best load for the typical Colt 1 in 7 twist? HD and target, of course!

    For blasting I recommend PMC or Privi, either 55 or 62 gr doesn't really matter.

    For HD those will do in a pinch but Hornady 75 gr OTM, Nosler 77 gr OTM, or Sierra 77 gr SMK OTM are better choices - thank you DocGKR.

    www.wideners.com has IMI 55 and 62 FMJ loads on sale in individual boxes as well as case lots.
