Ulticlip XL?

Hi,

I mentioned about the ulticlip in a prior thread a while back. I know that Jmcustom offers the regular ultclip on his universal IWB so there is some interest in that type of clip. However DSG mentioned that he doesn't offer it on his casual carry because during force on force testing the ulticlip manage to unflip itself if worn with a belt. The guy just came out with the ulticlip XL which allows the clip to clip OVER the belt instead of underneath it and even allows for OWB carry. I was wondering if would remedy that unfliping problem. Thoughts?

Not sure if it addresses the whole getting unhooked during grappling. Seems like anything with an external latch could get grabbed, caught... and come undone.

I think I can agree with that. However, can't the same be said of snap loops which many people tend to trust also? If it is atleast as secure as that. This is a very versatile clip. Please let me know what you find.

Rubber belt loops provide a lot of friction even unsnapped. With two of them and a 1 3/4" belt it's not easy to pull my holster free just taking the gun off when I get home. I don't think any clip will be like that. That's not saying clips aren't or can't be secure, just that they are different in that aspect from loops.
