    Out of curiosity...how good?

(braces for need to buy a Sig)

With a little polishing on the contact points or copious amounts of grease on the internals when assembling, it makes it better than the old Smith revolvers (at least my samples) that I've shot.

Any idea what the pull of the DA trigger is? 8-9lbs?

I hate you all. I need to stay away from this place.

Mine, with the 17lb spring and polish are under 8lb DA and at 3.5lb SA.
19lb spring puts it right at 8lb.

Great, and there I was NOT needing a new gun...

Will be watching the surplus sites to see if new deals drop on Sigs...

There's a company on gunbroker clearing out E2 style P226Rs with no reserve auctions; they've been closing around $450ea for the last 2 weeks. I need another pistol like i need another kid, but I've been bidding $370 ($30 to ship) because a $400 all inclusive P226R is worth the gamble.

X2. I really like the 19lb. hammer spring in my 226 and 229. If they were only comp gun I would run a 17lb. hammer spring.

Since we're giving away parts, I have a 19 lb Wolff spring I'll chip in if you want it. Or a 17 lb but my primer strikes on Magtech primed reloads were too light. 18 lbs got me reliable again.

The FFL called today on my lucky GB find:

It was an unissued/unfired LE gun still covered in factory grease. Yeah, it might not get as much jealousy as LockedBreech's P226 because it's a DAK fotay, but I'm primarily carrying DAK guns and very happy with them, it's full of machined SiGARMS goodness, and I have (or was able to invent) a justification as to why I needed it over the G19 which was collecting dust that I sold to fund it. Now I just need to get a .40 brass jag and bore snake, and decide whether or not I'm going to pull the trigger on the 500 rounds of 180 gr. RA40B that is tempting me on GunBroker.
