What jury? The "Wolverine" is a shock-and-awe deterrent. Like Nyeti being naked, except for a Spartan helmet and wielding an 870. Someone comes up to jack you and you come out with a blade in each fist and their reaction is something like, "Screw this, I got choir practice to get to."
