Police are responding to reports that a van has hit a number of pedestrians on London Bridge in central London.
Witnesses have said that armed officers are understood to be at the scene after a white van mounted the pavement before driving into people."

Locals on scene (former military) being interviewed for Sky News (repeated on Fox News) reporting 'significant gunfire' from the scene preceding the Police / EMS response.

FYI, this could happen in any City in the US at any time.

Sky News reporting stories of 'Knife Attacks' in the aftermath of the London Bridge Incident.
A BBC News reporter happened to be standing there when it happened, but they're not the sort to rapid-fire release details before verifying them.

It certainly doesn't help, imho, having a fully disarmed populace which is unable to effectively defend itself when an event occurs.
