Golden Tiger .223: Good or bad?

Been meaning to get more carbine work done as I don't really shoot my AR15 all that often in favor for more handgun shooting and I'm running a bit low on XM193. For those with experience with this ammo, is Golden Tiger .223 quality compared to Tula or Wolf? SGAmmo has some of this ammo and I've had good luck with it on my AK save for one light primer strike and I wanted to know if their .223 offering is of similar quality.

I'm planning to do a lot of high round count <50yd shooting so the slight decrease in accuracy with the ammo in question shouldn't be an issue.

It's pretty much all the same crap. If it runs in your gun, then have at it.

Sounds perfect for what you're doing, I'm a huge fan of cheap ammo, and haven't taken a carbine class without cheap steel cased ammo.

The Wolf Gold sold by SG Ammo and others is very reasonably priced brass case XM193 produced for Wolf by the Taiwanese military's ammo factory. I would recommend it over steel case of unknown provenance.

FWIW, back when I was shooting AKs, Golden Tiger was a cut above Tula and Wolf (2009-2012 era). I have no experience with their .223, but I will second HCM's recommendation for Wolf Gold -- I've had nothing but good experiences with that. The Tula BrassMax stuff is re-badged Fiocci IIRC and that's been good as well.

Golden Tiger was my favorite followed by Brown Bear ammo.

I prefer the lacquer, it runs better.

The first batch that hit the shores here had VERY hard primers... enough of a problem that SGAmmo offered people their money back... kind of unheard of in ammo sales...

The current batch is MUCH better as a as the primers go.

That said, it is loser to Wolf then Tula IMHO.

Golden Tiger 56gr FMJ is good stuff. Accurate and consistent.

With that said there are some pretty good deals out there on brass cased ammo. That would be my preference unless the Golden Tiger is way cheaper than stuff like Wolf Gold.
