Right now my music rig is an Epiphone Les Paul Studio in Alpine White/Black pickguard with Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkies and a micro cube practice amp (don't have the room in my barracks for anything bigger). Not exactly the highest-end equipment, but it serves my current needs.

Heh- I'm sure the others in the barracks appreciate the smaller amp- I know my dorm mates wern't too happy when I got that 100 watt Sunn amp those many years ago.
As a bassist, I've played around with effects over the years, but I usually keep things pretty straight, with just an ART MP tube direct box for a little bit of grit.
I mostly play rhythm guitar, but I've been working on learning how to do lead in the past couple years. I mostly play with a moderate amount of distortion, about as much as needed to play pre-Black Album Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, etc.
A ContourROAM (POV match vids - wee!), 4 Captains of Crush grippers (I can barely close the #1... gah) and some 9mm WWB, along with other assorted sugary goodies and $100 (which is going towards bike parts).
Oh, and I got a not-currently-running 1985 Kawasaki KLR250 last week. I guess that counts

My wife got me a Kindle. My book buying has been tempered in recent years by having run out of shelf space. I predict that with this gift my book budget may soon exceed my ammo budget.
