I have one that I bought from a member here a while back. It is the only pocket holster I have for my 442 at this point. It does an OK job of concealing the gun in my pocket but I think another holster would conceal better for me, I just haven’t carried the gun enough to purchase another holster for it yet. There are some wear spots on the gun from the holster, they don’t bother me much but they may bother some. Overall I would say it’s worth a try for the price. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to try to answer them.
No problem. Unfortunately I have no experience with the standard. FWIW, I have heard good things about Pocket Concealmemt Systems holsters and I will probably try one of their designs at some point. @Irelander has one one of PCS’s designs and has been happy with it to my knowledge. He has also tried the Backbone before so he may have some insight on it.
As OP I thought I'd bring this thread up to date. I didn't buy a .380 - I bought a Glock G43 9mm, and I do pocket carry it with a Boraii Kydex holster: (Photo credit - the Boraii site)
The combination is a little heavier than I like and does tend to drag my pants down, but when I wear it I also wear a set of suspenders ("braces" for you Brits). With my pants it doesn't show and for under $20 the holster's a great deal.

Almost like this combination was designed for pocket carry.

I have the PCS Blackbird for my 642. I really like it. Even though it is a little thicker than the Backbone it conceals better for me in jeans which is what I wear 90% of the time.

For my j-frame I use an Uncle Mike's #3 holster. I have used it for about the last 18 months and have had no issues with it. I got it initially after trying to decide which holster to buy. It is around $10.00 so I figured if it didn't work I wouldn't be out much money. And if you are like me, over the years you have an accumulation of the "perfect holster" only to be disappointed when the holster didn't quite work. I tried an Uncle Mike's for my Ruger LCP. The issue wasn't the holster. The Ruger just doesn't give you much to grab onto and that made getting the pistol out of one's pocket an issue. Perhaps another holster would better serve the LCP.
