A proposal to make the ATF a more efficient place that can improve public safety by focusing on actual gun crime vs wasting taxpayer resources, massively inconveniencing gun owners and creating a mountain of red tape and ambiguity for those who attempt to follow the law.
Surely nothing that Obama or Clinton would stand for.

Of course, but that would require a federal gov't agency that actually gives a flying flip about having a positive impact on commerce and industry. I'm not aware that such a thing exists.
