A Seiko 5 might be worth considering too. Available in many different configurations. Automatic, so no battery. Lume is mediocre--good enough with a charge from a light though. Definitely the low end of automatic watches, but mines been quite solid over the years, and has held up well. Personally, I wouldn't go with a luminox myself--they cost too much for what they are. Traser makes some lower cost watches that use tritium as well, might be worth a look.
