    Shoes have either utility or aesthetics. If you wear them just to special occasions then cool. If you workout with them then you should probably change them up.

    I'm not really an aesthetics guy. I prefer plain and boring.

    Do you have a favorite general use/workout shoe?

    Go to a local running store and have them do a gate analysis. After that they can point you to the best option for you. I have been using new balance sneakers for a while for working out and running. I change them every so often as i can feel the difference.
