.308 autoloaders and polymer tipped ammunition.

I know that a popped primer will stop the show fast. I can only presume that a broken polymer tip could, as well. Are polymer tipped rounds (AMAX, Accubond, Interbond, etc.) a no-go for duty rifles of semi-auto design such as the SR25, MWS, etc?

I've shot some TAP in my MP10 without issue so far. Interesting question I'd not thought of

Have shot numerous poly-tip loads outta .308 semi autos with no problems.

No problems with TAP in my M1A with a limited sample size (40-50 rds).

I have been warned by a KAC employee that the SR-25 should not use polymer tipped projectiles due to the tips breaking off in testing.
