    Cast/coated 147gr 9mm load data?

If you're loading these, what's your COAL?

1.125 using bayous out of a Glock 34 shoots really accurate.

I use 1.135" with 3.3gr TG or 3.9gr WSF(if I want less smoke). So far 10K over 147br Bayou Bullets without a hiccup in glocks, Hks, sigs, and DW.

somewhere ~1.120-1.130... Mixed brass gives mixed results. But that's ok...

    I'm currently testing some of Les' .357-sized 147 gr pepperoni poppers @ 1.135-140. Works in a 92 and P226.

I'm getting some case gauge failures at 1.13 using all Dillon dies, considering a Lee U die or FCD if bumping down the COAL isn't the answer.

OAL depends on the bullet profile and the barrel. I loaded FP bullets as short as 1.065 for my CZ. You can load way longer for Glock OEM barrels. If you use any aftermarket barrel you need to measure what OAL would work in your barrel. Here is how:

With 147 gr I have used the following powder: - 3.45 gr WST, 2.9 Titegroup, 3.75 Power Pistol, 3.2gr Bullseye, 3.0gr 700x, 3.45 Unique. All work fine. WST is my favorite (less smoke and very soft)

Using a 550b and all Dillon dies I was having about 10% CG failures. Sometimes higher. I switched to a Lee fcd and it's around 1-2%. This was all at the same oal.

Thanks for posting your WST data, to date I only used WST in my 45-200SWC loads. I still have a ton left from a 8lb keg bought 3-4 yrs ago.

Note: I dont use a case gauge, I use the plunk test with glock 17 OEM for the most part.

Yeah, I use the plunk test for the loads I use for matches but for practice loads it takes too much time
I do not believe the reason for cage gauge failures at 1.13 is OAL. 10% failure rate is too high. Most likely it is bulged brass (Those Glocks). The Lee dies help, especially the factory crimp die - https://www.midwayusa.com/product/55...-die-9mm-luger.
Also this one can help as well:
