My Rangers had 17 seconds left in the third period to take a 2-0 lead in their series with Montreal. Wasn't to be.

In the OT they came out looking tentative, afraid to make mistakes and like a huge adrenaline dump had hit the whole team.

I called the goal for Montreal less than five seconds before they took the game with a minute and change left in the first OT period.

Brutal loss but the better team won tonight.

I almost had an aneurysm as the Maple Leafs went up 2-0 on the Capitals last night in the 1st period. Nothing like watching the last team in the East knock the number one seed on their ass. Ugly game.

Meanwhile, I was looking forward to watching CBJ and the Pens kick the crap out of each other, but so far that's been a one sided affair. The Montreal-NY matchup has been the most entertaining so far.

My crystal ball is broken...but I hope you're wrong. I was happy for them when they won a time or two after a long hiatus. That goodwill has now sailed.
