    Ordered a McDaniel ii for my PX4 CC earlier this week after watching that video. Seems to be a very experienced leather worker for sure.

    There's some things in his designs that I don't like compared to John Ralston or Jim Ryan, but I do agree.

    I really admire guys like these who have mastered leather work.

    ETA: In addition, I think I might move back to leather in the next year. I don't like the retention I'm getting with kydex accommodating the Surefire XC1.

    Sam is a superb craftsman and nice guy. I love my McDaniel II's and have 4 of them.

    Forgot that he has a natural radio voice.

    Also snagged his OWB hybrid which is very fast and still conceals well.

    A lot of leather holsters I've seen, including those from top-end makers, leave the trigger partially exposed. Seems strange to me.
