I suspect it should have been worded differently. The two kits I have have all the metal parts polished really smooth and shiny. They LOOK like chrome but of course didn't magically BECOME chrome. But then I suspect you all already knew that.

Well no one would buy it he had said," it feels pretty good."

Yeah, but people in general cannot distinguish between a polished surface and one that has been plated.

    ROFL!!!

They always say Glock has the strong aftermarket market. So we'll see. Some work out, some only work out for some.

Not all that familiar with Glocks. This is the only thing I could come up with that made sense. Maybe because chrome is super smooth and may have a high ware factor? Just a thought, made more sense than "polishing to a hard chrome finish".

At the risk of being at the edge of my lane:

This Glock setup looks a lot like a hardware solution to a software problem.

If you really want a polymer 1911 experience, the FMS version of the M&P with the APEX FSS kit seems to be the way to go.

    YMMV Greatly

don't agree with this. those mods will very significantly change the trigger and way its felt.

an M&P with the apex FSS has been known to elicit many comments on its ''1911-like'' trigger.

however, it certainly wouldn't be the first time this has been done with a glock, and won't be the last.

I personally certainly won't be giving this a try, as I have been down that road enough times. my stock parts glock suits me fine. I am very used to the pre-travel, and found it quite disturbing shooting a friends 1911 for the first time.

Why would I want a Glock trigger that feels like a 1911 trigger? Hard breaks are annoying.
