Thread: Glock Frame Replacement Program

    Glock Frame Replacement Program

Has anyone used the warranty replacement program? How does it work?

I have a G17 frame that's been under the stippling gun too many times, and I'd like to know how to buy a replacement frame from Glock

$100 plus tax (if applicable I suppose) bottom of page 2. They will want your old frame and send the old one on your dime (which is obviously not cheap as it is a "firearm").

Also, I had an issue with a frame that they replaced for free (not stippling or similar issue). They were fine with me stripping the internals before returning the frame and included all new internals on the replacement. I'd recommend contacting them first to ensure my situation is the norm and not a one off.

I don't believe so. You could always call them, but I doubt it. Plenty of other options with Cold Bore Custom, Robar, D.R. Middlebrows, etc. though.

on the warranty form, they list it as a "frame upgrade". I thought that meant that if you send in a Gen2, they give you a Gen3 with the light rail. I wonder if I can ask them to give me a G19 frame instead of the 17.....

eta: my frame has the light rail, but the gen2(?) pin arrangement

    You'll get a Gen 3 3 pin frame. They don't have Gen 2 frames.

Be aware that you can simply buy a new frame for $100+transfer fee from some gun stores (or gunbroker). This is usually cheaper than paying to ship your old frame to Glock.
