    LE308TT2 Concern/Question

This is the "new" Trophy Bonded Tipped loading. Everything about it looks "like a win", to me, except the fact that it has a nickel plating. This worries me, as none of the solvents that are ever going near my rifle bore contain chemicals that would remove nickel. I can't see this NOT transferring to the rifling.

    What's the deal here?

Is it really nickel on the bullet and not just nickel on the casing? Try muriatic acid from the hardware store on a pulled bullet, you'll find out soon enough if it's zinc like the newer TulAmmo.

Clearly says "Nickel Plated Bullet" at 1:03, and again at 1:11

Even Federal at the highest levels has not been able to give me an internal response, so I'll reach out to the end-user, again, hopefully someone here belongs to an agency or has deep pockets and has shot a few hundred and then looked at their bore/tried to clean it...

...is this new plating scheme an issue? What have you observed?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but is there an answer to this question?
