Hmmmm . . . I'm late to this thread but bought a VP40 some time ago as an 'outdoorsy' gun and quite like it. I've gone all Glock on my 9mms but might have to see what new things HK may be offering in 40.
Wish I had gone with a P2000sk V3 over my V1. I like the V1 but the V3 P2000's I have shot have been much better after I shoot my Striker fired Guns.
The manual safety is one thing I like about the M&P, although it's still an M&P and I still don't own one. I would be interested in a VP9 with manual safety and what makes the maritime version maritime?
VP9 SK are on short final at HK USA, apparently. Ship date is Soon(tm).
Interested in the VP9L much more than the SK version.
