    That has me wondering, Todd, do you get a kickback from all of the ammunition manufacturers for 'encouraging' us to shoot more?

    Seriously, we should get a site in here to sponsor all this shooting and get us some good prices

    Off to to help the economy by sending another 100 rounds downrange.

    Finally, a drill that plays to my strengths!

    Pistol: M&P full size 9mm.
    Ammo: Handloads using Berry's 147gr bullets.

    2 hand: 91
    SHO: 87
    WHO: 84

    Total: 262

    You can never have too much accuracy, but overall a felt pretty good about those scores. I used to shoot Tom Jones' Bullseye 1000 regularly with my 1911, but have only shot it a couple of times with my M&P. I think I will put that drill in the rotation a little more frequently and see if I can beat my best 1911 score.

    I'd love to use Tom's BE1000 as a DotW, but it requires folks to have specific targets.

    Tried it again today an hour earlier so the light would be better. 2 handed wasn't so hot but overall it was better since I didn't drop 3 shots. The pistol shoots 2" high with my reloads so I have to lolipop it. Guess my goal for now will be to hit 275 and then break 280.
    2H 91-2x
    SHO 96-1x
    WHO 80-0x
    Total 267-3x

    First outing with the P2000. Really liking it so far. Used to the Glock system, so it will take some time to get comfortable with the LEM trigger.

    *Note, these were shot at an indoor range at their maximum distance of about 18 yards. Still happy to do it after focusing so much at 3 and 5 yd!

    Brand new 2011 (4/8/11 test fire date) 3rd gen G17 w/RMR07 shooting Federal AE 147 gr FMJ. 20 rounds to sight RMR, then shot the drill for score.

    2H = 98-2x
    SH = 94-2x
    WH = 93-1x

    285-5x

    Attachment 341

    Since this drill was nearly there, I shot the other two timed portions of the 500 point aggregate (http://pistol-forum.com/showthread.p...stro-Valley-CA) and went 463-8x.

    This new G17 now has 150 rounds through it without any malfunctions or other failures to operate correctly. The new matte type Glock finish appears to wear very rapidly and seems highly prone to rust formation. We'll see how it goes. As I noted before, our recently acquired adjustable RMR07's have a noticeable light blue tint to the glass unlike our RMR02's. In addition, the elevation and windage adjustments on these RMR07's do not seem to have the same positive clicks as our prior RMR02's.

    Happily I started the training session by passing the Defoor pistol test #1 with my carry M&P45!

    I shot three FAST drills with the M&P45 and three with the G17; unfortunately the best clean FAST I could run today with the M&P45 was 6.39 sec and the best clean one with the G17 was 6.15 sec.

    285 is fine when shooting a sissy 9 mm G-LOCK, but when using a real man gun in .45 ACP, then anything under 290 would be unthinkable...

    Ugh.

    245
    String 1 - 95
    String 2 - 75
    String 3 - 75

    Strings 2 and 3 looked like mirror/flipped images of each other.
    -WHO shots pushed to the right
    -SHO shots pushed to the left
