DC Area 3G Providers?

Can anyone recommend a 3G provider for the DC area? I will be moving there from overseas shortly, and I haven't kept up with how the providers rate in terms of coverage, speed, and customer service. This will be for an iPhone 4, which I purchased overseas, so it's not locked to Verizon or AT&T (and I'd like to keep it that way). A provider that offers a .mil discount would be preferred. Sorry for the off-topic question, but there seem to be a lot of tech-savvy people from the area here. Thanks,

Both AT&T and Vz are decent, but I would definitely give Vz an edge in coverage.

I’d go with Vz. Since I moved here 10 years ago, I’ve tried several different providers (Vz, AT&T, Nextel, Sprint, and then back to Vz.) Vz has been the most reliable and I haven’t had any issues with their customer service.
