This came into my shop with some other vintage ammo. Edit: there was a sticker on the one side that removed quite easily (should've tried that first lol) and a 1988 date was present as well as the rest of the barcode. That's what I get for doing something half-assed. Additional pictures for your viewing pleasure.

The band just below the case mouth is that some sort of crimp? My 45 230gr. has that band, none of my .40 HST has that. Just wondering.

Probably anti setback cannelure in the brass (at the base of the bullet), and the case has a taper crimp on the bullet.Originally Posted by Tabasco
