    While shooting some >10 sec FAST the other other day, I was just thinking that if only I lubed my holster up, I could whip things out faster.

    It is composed of silicone and lanolin.

    a) Major fail, it's not edible. I understand that's important in lubricants.
    b) Raise your hand if you know what silicone does to electrical contacts, such as say on a WML or an RDS.

    I have used spray silicone on the inside of some Safariland duty holsters that were especially tight. Made a big difference.

    Back to topic, its not my gear slowing my draw. Its me slowing my draw. Alas I can't get a replacement me to draw faster.

    Back in the early 90s Safariland recommended the silicone spray
