Thread: It's Official SIG P320C is the new ICE /HSI duty gun

Perhaps I'm confusing the Army protest with a non-existent ICE one.

Yeah, who am I kidding :-)

Actually, I'm not even advocating that. Just making the point that corruption is invited by the complexity of the system itself. It can be military purchases, food transport regulations, parliamentary procedures, or hair braiding licensing, it makes no difference: Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges.

The other down select vendor is protesting the ICE contract award to SIG so no roll out until it is resolved.

I’m not sure how this will affect things but.

Doesn't look like it is slowing down the delivery schedule of 320/M17/M18 handguns to the DOD. With FN's protest being denied, this should pave the way for the 320 to hit HSI recruits at FLETC and specific offices in the next 6-12 months at best.

I don't know what the date of that last article is but their closing paragraph says the Glock / MHS protest hasn't been decided; when, in fact, it has. As a GAO news release and Army Times article has already announced, Glock's protest against the military's decision to go with the Sig P320 (now, M17), has also been dismissed
