I voted no preference. I don't think there are any quality differences.
If given a choice I would buy the US made Glock. Because I'm American and like to buy products made in my own country. However, if the place with the best price couldn't offer (Or didn't have) a US made Glock I wouldn't freak out, and would still pick up an Austrian.

The only difference I recall from the most recent guns was that one had a dull, matte finish to the slide and the other had some sheen. I think the Austrian guns had the matte finish. Otherwise identical, in my experience.
I used to think this was based on country of origin, but I've seen both from both. I personally much prefer the more shiny, teflon looking finish, as it's held up much better in my experience, but I think glock is moving towards the more dull, matte finish, as I haven't seen any with the old style finish in a while.
I voted for the Austrian glock simply because all of my Glocks are Austrian, and the idea of owning one that says USA on the slide is just weird. You will notice this is devoid of logic, and that's because I don't think it actually matters but like picking sides anyway.
I prefer Austrian but only because I have a soft spot for the kangaroos.
In America, we use American built things.
