It doesn't appear from the article and image that I posted yesterday that there was any attempt to pass off the mags as OEM Glock magazines.
Rather it seems to be a technical violation of some sort relating to the use of the Glock brand name being present on the SGM packaging. (At least that's how I'm seeing it absent further info.)
In the Spyderco situation it is clearly an attempt at deception by marking the knives themselves as though they were the genuine article. I don't believe that SGM had an intent to deceive...but merely wanted to market their magazines as suitable for use in Glock firearms.
(I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.)
