The perils of motorcycles to your firearm.

Yesterday, I was at the match and some of the old guys were talking about their mid-life crisis motorcycles. I have good friends who engage in this behavior (while I am not interested and/or too klutzy for such). I was retelling the story of how on the way to a match, my friend on his bike in front of me - fell over on the gravel and I stopped and helped him get that big old Harley off of him. In those those, I could lift a fair amount - so we did it. Of course, I embellished the story as a life saving event as men are prone to do. We all laughed as did the victim I helped. I did have a bad back for a few days after.

So today I get the following images from a friend who rides - they came from a spill where the rider had his gun in the saddle bags which weren't locked down and the gun managed to go to a bad place with bad results. Name: gun in spokes.jpg

It's from an open motorcycle forum so not a secret.

And that's why you should ride shaft driven motorcycles.
There's nothing civil about this war.

Ouch!! That sucks. Looks to have been a ruger LC9? Not too much coin lost. Is that a full on dirt bike or a dual or whatever they are called?
The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.

    Humbly improving with CZ's.

But .... that never happened on Sons of Anarchy .....

Some of y'all may remember this - a few years ago a West Texas or New Mexico Border Patrol Agent took a spill on his ATV and broke the grip off his P2000.
