    My Blunt First Impressions of the SW MP2.0

    Just calling it as I see it guys...

    I handled one. I liked it a lot but I agree the grip texture is a little over the top.

    Have owned two M&P .40s, one well-used and one brand-new. I think the slides play definitely does feel "cheaper" than some of the competitors. I disagree about the cheapness of the safety specifically, it's pretty solid-feeling. For what it's worth, my M&P .40s both ran.

    I really liked the feel of the M2.0 I felt, I like a super-aggressive texture. However, the initial test reports around the gunnernet are less than stellar and I will exercise my typical one year minimum grace period before buying a newly-released gun design.

    What kind of problems are being reported? I'm like you, i like the safety but I will wait to buy.

    Fortunately, I was able to sell mine almost immediately....phew.

    Accuracy still looks inconsistent (albeit improved) and I think one of the posters here had the disassembly catch fall out of the gun right out of the box.

    Correct that did happen. Does that lock the gun up or stop it from working ?
