Sorry for the bump a month later... but is the “gun compartment” on the back of the Vertx bags big enough to fit a 8” SBR with a LAW folder while the rest of the pack can be used normally for normal stuff?

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I will have to stick with a “dual laptop” type bag.

Just noticed that Vertx has an a sale on the "EDC Ready Pack bundle" with two tool-pouch accessories for cheaper than just the pack:

I'm a "7" compared to most gun-guys, which means I'm a "3" on P-F.
Been using the Vertx again this Disney Trip. Really hate this bag.
Just ordered the Alpha One Niner in grey ripstop since it was down to $150.
Still heavier than it should be but at least it’s less than the Vertx.
Interesting - I didn't realize that Helmie Ashiblie had started a new company. I have a number of i-Shot and SERT products; good kit.
I like the Recon 9 Evade features - reminds me very much of my The North Face Borealis pack, which I've been using for several years now.
"When the phone rang, Parker was in the garage, killing a man."
Yeah? Looks like a year later I'm less inclined to deal with patch panels and stuff like that.
Think for yourself. Question authority.
