Thread: Need new dad bag

Sorry for the bump a month later... but is the “gun compartment” on the back of the Vertx bags big enough to fit a 8” SBR with a LAW folder while the rest of the pack can be used normally for normal stuff?

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I will have to stick with a “dual laptop” type bag.

Just noticed that Vertx has an a sale on the "EDC Ready Pack bundle" with two tool-pouch accessories for cheaper than just the pack:

Been using the Vertx again this Disney Trip. Really hate this bag.

Just ordered the Alpha One Niner in grey ripstop since it was down to $150.

Still heavier than it should be but at least it’s less than the Vertx.

It looks nice and appears to have features/layout similar to the Vertx bag but is a little shorter and a few ounces lighter. Shorter bags don’t carry well for me and it’s one of the reasons I really like the Vertx.

In one of the photos I saw a Tom Bihn tag sewed in — if they are making it, it’s sure to be well made. I hope it works out for you.
That’s interesting re: Tom Bihn as the other bag I’m looking hard a thing is theirs and a lot of the cues reminded me of the Bihn.

Looks cool but hard pass on the stupid fucking threeper patch panel.

Yeah? Looks like a year later I'm less inclined to deal with patch panels and stuff like that.
