    Trying to ID grips

A buddy of mine picked up a bumch of stuff to sell on consignment, including some revolver bits a pieces. I already picked up some Comp 2 and 3 loaders for a good price. Found these grips in the pile as well. I am not a revolver expert by any stretch, so I was hoping you guys could lend a hand confirming what they are. I think they might be Farrants, but not 100%. They sort of fit my K frame, but there is space between the top of the grip and the back strap, so maybe an N-frame? Otherwise they fit well.

They do appear to be Farrant, with a high confidence level based on the pics.
The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.

From your description, they do sound like N frame. You can put K frame grips on an N frame (opposite of what you observed), and they leave part of the side of the frame exposed for 1/4" or less at the top rear edges.

Like this, K grips on N

Looks about right. I guess I should go buy them, then go buy an N-frame to put them on

Sounds like you have your priorities straight.
