    Thanks for the video.

    I was looking for more 123 gr SST and noticed SGammo had this stuff in stock; in fact had it special ordered. I ordered a few hundred rounds. Per the good Doc:


    Of note, most of the “cheap” Russian JHP/JSP ammunition offers poor terminal performance. The one that seems to work is the 7.62x39mm Saspan 124 gr JHP (Ulyanovsk Machinery Plant; 8M3 bullet); from a 16” AKMS the data is:

    BG: vel=2297 f/s, pen=15.0”, Max TC=10cm@18cm, RD=0.63”, RW=100.5gr"


    Hoping this new production works as well as the new stuff. It's certainly priced right (25 cents per round) and it seems like anything AK related is getting harder to find/more expensive. (on a side note, I went to 3 wal marts looking for cheap x39 and couldn't find a single box of cheap euro. 1 wal mart had winchester FMJ for $17 per box)
