    TAP 300 blackout 110 GMX

    Some of my co workers were talking about this the other day... also saw it on targetsport, anyone have any information on it? How does it compare to the Barnes?

    I do recall doc saying the gmx projectile in *other* calibers was go to go.

    Hopefully that is the case with this one as well, since it's $10 less then Barnes per box...

    Just need to know the minimum fps for expansion.

    300 BO TAP 110 Grain GMX. In regards to your question about reliable (maximum) expansion, I would recommend a velocity of approximately 1800 fps. It may expand partially as low as 1700 fps since the polymer tip initiates expansion. As far as performance from an 8” – 9” barrel it will function the rifle as expected, but your penetration depth will be increase due to the slower velocities.
