To paraphrase Crocodile Dundee, that's not a snubby, this is a snubby!

Never mind...... I have another M&P 340 with a custom fitted Ti .38 cylinder. At 11 ounces I have shot it exactly once, and that is likely the last. It is my around the house gun. Rides in a DSG holster usually clipped to basketball or sweat shorts.

I will likely get one more M&P 340. The one in the picture usually has Uncle Mike's boot grips and rides in a Mika pocket holster. It was nice to dress it up. I figure one for day to day and training and one to keep nice in the country club rig. I ll take a picture in the sunlight tomorrow with the rest of its accessories.

Just a Hairy Special Snowflake supply clerk with no field experience, shooting an Asymetric carbine as a Try Hard. Snarky and easily butt hurt. Favorite animal is the Cape Buffalo....likely indicative of a personality disorder.

I bought my M&P 340 in 2008 when I graduated the police academy. I think that is the same year they were introduced. It's been my BUG on duty ever since. I hate that it has the lock, but they didn't introduce the no-lock version until a few years later.

I've thought about buying another without the lock, but I always end up spending my money on another 1911 that I don't need.

A no lock 340 is one of the few guns that are on the buy list in 2017.

The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.
