Thread: Winter Wonderland :)

Yeah the wind can make it especially rough.

We have a lot of wind here, and it can take a lot of fun out of outdoors stuff.

That said, bright sunny winter days (with no wind) are enjoyable to me, and it makes spotting coyotes much easier!

Every time I see that beautiful land cruiser I'm reminded of the one that got away from me.
    Love the pictures.

    GET ONE!

The old ones are not going to get any cheaper. They have such a loyal following it is unreal.

My wife had to take it to work one day (and I rarely let her drive it). She stopped to get coffee at Dutch Bros. The Dutch Bros coffee people told her that the guy in line behind her bought her coffee because he loved the old Cruiser. She was all smiles and told them that the old Cruiser was her husband's other "significant other".

I tried to buy one, cash in hand, when I was recruiting in Idaho in 2005 (maybe?).
The older gentleman gave a strong vibe of not wanting to part with his truck to an army guy.
Backstory was, his son was in the NG unit and they had just been deployed, much to the surprise and dismay of some in the community.

When I was in the national guard I had a lot of people tell me that it wasn't part of the army. People are funny

While I enjoy snow, and recreating in it, the wind blows.

I checked the weather a bit ago, as I had to run the midgets across our little town.

12 below, with a wind chill of 27 below zero.

A great day to catch up on work inside!

I am glad I don't live in Northern Montana or North Dakota, Eh!

It's snowing in Texas. About 1/100000000000000 of your amount but it's snow none the less. Of course this is almost apocalyptic got us.

    These photos are beautiful.
It was -8 F earlier this am when I took my wife to a dentist appointment. Windchill took it to -20 F for a bit. Now it's a tropical -13 F, counting the wind!
Your scenery has a better payoff, though I do like seeing the Mississippi winding it's way through town.

Lex how about a pic of the big river?!?

I cannot recall seeing any pictures of the northern part, especially during winter.
