    Consumer consumption is the engine that drives the American economy. A threaded barrel is easier to push out of battery for contact shots, that shit'll get you killed.

    Beyond that, I've had decent luck with my Tornado Tech thread protectors, which have an o-ring inside to help keep it snugged up. I believe AAC thread protectors also have this feature. I personally was tempted to try some Vibra-Tite VC-3, too, but I'm not sure if the temperature rating of VC-3 is sufficient (165 °F).

    Unless my eyes deceive me, that is only for the Glock 21 barrels in 45 ACP.

    is there something I am not spotting on that page? The rest appear to be $200 and up.

    They must have sold out. When I posted the link the had Glock 34 and 17 barrels. I didn't see any 19 barrels.
