There were Lincoln trucks for sale not that long ago. I think Chevy Avalanche versions. Maybe F150 but I remember seeing them about 10 years ago

Chevy Avalanche "upscaled" would be Cadillac (Escalade EXT), as Cadillac is GM's "upscaled" brand.

Lincoln is Ford's "upscaled" brand.

The Lincoln Blackwood was cool.

For the 12 seconds they made them...

I suspect had the bed been accessible it would have done better. Having the bed cover be hinged but not removeable was a dumb move.

And there WAS a Cadillac version of the avalanche, as if the Avalanche wasn’t hideous enough all on it’s own…

Right, that's the Escalade EXT I mentioned. They had a much better reception than the Lincoln trucks and were made for about a decade, although I don't think they were large volume sellers.

...and, fun fact, the name came from when the designers were planning to make it a woody. It was a black wood from Africa that I no longer recall the name of, but it was so dense and heavy that the cladding would have reduced the payload too much and the idea was scrapped.
