    This is one of my grail guns...or was until the idea of it in an 8-shot .357 config popped into my head.

    I like the idea of this. I know it is a different animal but I seem to recall S&W's 686+ is more prone to timing issues. Any chance this could be susceptible to the same problem? If this works, I'll be looking at getting one. Eight rounds of .357 would make for a good woods gun. I would also like to see it in different barrel lengths.

    That super redhawk / redhawk barrel version looks great. That should be a no brainer for Ruger

    You would think. Wouldn't even need a new casting. Just mill the extended portion of the frame off an Alaskan. Then they just need to reach into a The RH barrel bin.
