    Targets on Segways

    Looks pretty cool: http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2011...tories+2%29%29

If the RSS class doesn't pan out, maybe there could be a ptf clinic at Quantico with these things.

57mil for some reactive target for wtbn Q to do what with? I'm not sure how giving a bunch of guys with actual experience another simulator, unless they are looking at how to get these to the ITB's on each coast.

That's awesome. I'd gladly pay a hefty sum for a week there.

What a raging waste of money.

    $57 million?

I guarantee you they won't even be used enough to have an impact.

My buddy and I have been thinking of doing similar, but with balloons on plexi rods about 5' tall on top of RC cars. We haven't yet because good RC cars cost serious $$ and we're afraid other people would shoot them.

I know a couple of people who do that at home and shoot the balloons with airsoft. Seems like an excellent idea!

I have done this exact same thing, using carbines/rifles.

    It's insanely fun.

Very cool and useful targets if properly implemented and utilized.

Just add bleeding zombie targets and you are set. They come in multiple flavors.
