    In car non-lethal

I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately, as I routinely have folks in my car that I don't necessarily know that well. I'm in my personal car (no cruiser), and have looked at rigging up a wire separator for dogs as a cabin partition. But, that's a different discussion.

I've been hesitant to rock OC since it's an enclosed enviornment, and I'll be spraying nearly blind left hand over right shoulder. I know I'll get hit as well if deployed, especially a cone, probably with a stream since it can 'splash back' and I'd be 3 feet away from impact or less. I haven't messed around with gel OC, but my understanding is it is less effective and needs a more precise aim.

So - anybody have recommendations (other than stopping the side gig- it's paying for the house)?

I would highly recommend NOT employing OC in any closed environment, especially if you are financially responsible for the enclosed space - OC does not wash out easy from seats.

A civ legal taser or stun gun might work, if it's legal in your state. Otherwise you are sorta stuck between lethal force, hands on or calling police.

Maybe it's time for neoprene seat covers. It's a honda fit, not exactly the most expensive vehicle, and it is something we're responsible for. I'm more worried about impacting myself since I'm behind the wheel.

I had a can of bear spray discharge/explode in a car. Bad news at the moment and it stayed for weeks.

Flashbangs, Jeep. It's the only responsible solution.

I've sprayed from inside a car once. Wasn't a problem, just don't wait till they are in your window and make sure you have a nice strong stream version.
